PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when the rotational speed of a drive motor by a sudden start and a sudden acceleration or the like of the vehicle is suddenly increased and the temperature of the drive motor is momentarily suddenly increased, if the suddenly increased heat is transmitted to a rotary scroll, a thermal effect to deformation is increased, so that the reliability of the scroll type compressor may be degraded; and the volumetric efficiency of the compressor reduces because an intake gas temperature in a compression chamber increases. SOLUTION: A coating layer is formed on at least one of a crank chamber side face of a supporting frame and a motor chamber side face of the supporting frame. With this constitution, the momentarily suddenly increased heat of a drive motor causes to delay transmitting to the rotary scroll and to improve the reliability and the volumetric efficiency of the scroll type compressor.
