The invention concerns An electric outlet for lighting systems which include electric leads enveloped in an insulating sheath and housed in a raceway or duct. The socket comprises a base body (11) attached to the sheath of the electric leads and a front plate (12) equipped with alveoli for the pins of an electric plug and means for gripping the plug. The front plate (12) has two additional alveoli (26) for connecting an emergency light with round or square contact pins. The additional alveoli are in the zone housing the means of gripping the plug and are masked by rubber penetrable baffles.
