PURPOSE: A mobile communication system for an image mail box service and its method are provided to allow a user to fabricate various video messages according to his/her taste. CONSTITUTION: An origination terminal fabricates a video message(S10). It is determined whether the video message needs to be edited for an image effect(S20). If the video message needs to be edited, the video message is transmitted to an image processor(S30). When a sender selects a desired image effect item from various image effect items provided by the image processor, the image processor applies the selected image effect to the video message(S40). The image-processed video message is transmitted to and stored in an image mail box of a receiver(S50).
