PURPOSE: A solid puzzle block is provided to employ side and cross engagement between blocks and to firmly engage the blocks by forming an embossed portion at sides of the blocks. CONSTITUTION: The solid puzzle block includes engaging grooves(13,33) formed at sides(11) and having opened upper and lower portions so that the blocks are engaged to each other in a crosswise direction. The solid puzzle block includes an engaging boss(14) and an engaging hole(15) each formed at both sides of the engaging groove formed at the body so that the blocks are engaged to each other side by side. Many embossed portions(12) are formed at a contact portion(42) of upper and lower surfaces(40,41) which are in contact with the engaging grooves to firmly cross engagement.
