<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of replacing a partial section of video exclusively for a musical piece with advertisement video and outputting the video. <P>SOLUTION: This karaoke video system is equipped with a video specification information management book which contains video specification information by musical pieces, a main video database storing musical-piece-only video which can be taken out according to the video specification information, and a subordinate video database which stores a replacing video program to replace a partial section of video exclusively for a specified musical piece and replacement section information specifying the section to be replaced. When a replacing video program for a musical piece to be played is not registered in the subordinate video database, a process of taking video exclusively for the musical piece of the main video database according to the video specification information for the musical piece and a process of taking the replacing video program out of the subordinate video database are carried out selectively according to replacement section information as a karaoke musical performance advances, and the replacing video program is allocated to the partial section specified with the replacement section information of the video exclusively for the musical piece, and outputting display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
