摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device capable of restraining temperature rise of a non-heat-generation component without increasing a manufacturing cost.

SOLUTION: Non-heat-generation components each having a small calorific value such as circuit components constituting a control part are mounted on a first circuit board 11a, and heat-generation components each having a relatively large calorific value such as a switching element of a converter part and a plurality of switching elements of an inverter part are mounted on a second circuit board 11b separated from the circuit board 11a. Since heat conduction from the heat-generation components to the non-heat-generation components through the circuit board can be restrained, and thereby heat from the heat-generation components can efficiently be radiated, temperature rise of the non-heat-generation components can be restrained without increasing a manufacturing cost.
