<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture keeping container for cut flower and its packaging member that can prevent a water leakage in its laterally stacked-up state and can be easily disposed after its use. <P>SOLUTION: The moisture keeping container 2 is inserted into a bottom part of a separate packaging box 1. The moisture keeping container 2 is constructed such that flange plates 23, 24 extending from the upper edge of a frame plate 21 are connected set by set through connector pieces. Upon assembling of their circumferential walls into a rectangular column shape, the flange plates 23, 24 are directed in a slant downward direction. Water is poured into a bag 27 covering from above the moisture keeping container 2, stalks of cut flowers are inserted into the moisture keeping container 2 and immersed in the water in the bag 27 and then the cut flowers are stored in the separate packaging box 1. Even if the containers are stacked up in a lateral state, the extremity ends of the flange plate 23 or 24 is kept above the water surface, leakage of water is scarcely found, the lower portions of the stalks are immersed in water in the bag 27 showing an appropriate water depth and then a freshness of the cut flowers is maintained.
