PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recorder capable of easily and surely inputting a title name. SOLUTION: The disk recorder is provided with a voice recognition part 8 for recognizing a voice-inputted predetermined keyword and a voice following the keyword and a CPU 10 for discriminating the voice following the keyword as the title name in the case that the keyword is the one determined beforehand on the basis of a recognized result in the voice recognition part 8. The CPU 10 judges that the voice input of the title name is ended in the case that a silent state continues for fixed time or longer for the voice following the keyword, an OSD control part 6 outputs the image of the title name discriminated by the CPU 10 to an encoding part 3, and a disk control part 4 records the title name encoded in the encoding part 3 to a disk 20.
