<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with its height suppressed as much as possible in having its width narrowed by locating two wire side terminal fittings at an upper stage and a lower stage, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: In order to narrow the total width of the connector, the wire side terminal fittings 30 are located at upper and lower stages, respectively, so as to arrange the wire connection parts 31 in a vertical direction, one being above the other. By forming a width of the wire side contact pieces 35 narrower than that of the wire connection parts 31, respective wire side contact pieces 35 at the upper and lower stages can be arranged at left and right sides in almost the same level of height in an area of the width direction occupied by one cable connection part 31.
