<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an amorphous wholly aromatic polyester amide which is excellent in adhesiveness with other kind of polymers and hence is suitably used for a multilayer film, a multilayered blow molding product, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The amorphous wholly aromatic polyester amide is obtained by copolymerization of (A) 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, (B) 2-hydroxy-6-naphthoic acid and (C) 3-aminobenzoic acid, wherein;(1) the ratio of the (A) 4-hydroxybenzoic acid is 10-85 mol%, (2) the ratio of the (B) 2-hydroxy-6-naphthoic acid is 10-85 mol%, (3) the ratio of the (C) 3-aminobenzoic acid is 1-35 mol% and (4) the ratio of (A) 4-hydroxybenzoic acid/ (B) 2-hydroxy-6-naphthoic acid, i.e. ((A)/(B)) is 0.15-6.0. Further, any melting point of the amorphous wholly aromatic polyester amide (5) is not observed by DSC measurement at a programming rate of 20°C/min, (6) has a glass transition temperature of 100-180°C and shows an optical anisotropy when softening flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
