PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one boiler and two water passage type re-heating water heater of simple structure capable of preventing unloaded heating of a water heating circuit. SOLUTION: This one boiler and two water passage type re-heating water heater is provided with the water heating circuit for heating water from a water supply pipe and supplying it from a hot-water supply pipe, a bath tub re-heating circuit for circularly heating the water inside a bath tub, a heat exchanger wherein both the water heating circuit and the bath tube re-heating circuit are heated by a common burner part, and a hot-water filling circuit for bath tub, which is divided from the hot-water supply pipe of the water heating circuit and connected to the bath tub re-heating circuit through a hot-water filling three-way valve. This water heater is also provided with an unloaded heating detecting means, which performs operation for priming water from the hot-water filling circuit for bath tub first when re-heating operation by the bath tub re-heating circuit is separately performed and which performs re-heating singularly with a determination that the water heating circuit is filled with water in the case where an output from a hot-water filling flow sensor maintains the set value or more for a certain time or more or in the case where water quantity becomes a set addition water quantity.
