摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase flexibility in selecting a structure of a downstream side planetary gear set group, and to improve flexibility in setting a transmission gear ratio, in a planetary gear train provided with an upstream side planetary gear set and the downstream side planetary gear set group coaxially with an input shaft and an output shaft, and obtaining the transmission gear ratio with forward six speeds by five frictional elements. SOLUTION: In the multi-speed transmission planetary gear train, the upstream side planetary gear set is made to be a double-pinion type first planetary gear set 14 having a first sun gear 20, a first ring gear 22, and a first carrier 28. The downstream side planetary gear set group is equipped with a first member, a second member, a third member, and a forth member 4 as a rotating member. The first sun gear 20 is coupled with the input shaft 10, and the first carrier 28 is fixed to a case 52. The first member can be coupled with the first ring gear 22, and the second member can be fixed to the case 52 and coupled to the input shaft 10.
