PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building method for a cable dome roof capable of building a large-scaled dome roof even with a small suspending device by reducing the weight and the tension load of a cable in hoisting. SOLUTION: When the outer periphery of the cable dome roof 1 formed by combining a large number of radial cables and ring cables is supported on a skeleton 4 and the inner peripheral side thereof is lifted along a temporarily installed structure stand 6, the radial cables 1A are raised through an auxiliary cable 8 formed by connecting a large number of lifting members 11. Even when the large-scale cable dome roof 1 is built, since a pulling device such as a jack 14 for tensing the radiation cable 1A can be eliminated or a small-sized pulling device can be used, cost can be remarkably reduced.
