PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door hinge unit causing no leakage of oil and a viscous body, and causing no change in a torque characteristic. SOLUTION: A coil spring 2202 is wound on an outer peripheral cylindrical surface 1804 of an outer sleeve 18 and an outer peripheral cylindrical surface 3404 of a case 14. The coil spring 2202 is fastened when a door opens, and fixes outer peripheral cylindrical surfaces 1804 and 3404. A bush 2402 is fitted and fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the outer sleeve 18, and the bush 2402 generates torque when an inner sleeve 20 relatively rotates to the outer sleeve 18. An engaging projection 2002 of the inner sleeve 20 engages with an engaging recessed part 40 of the case 14, and restricts rotation of the inner sleeve 20 in a first angle range. A two-surface part 1604 of a shaft 16 is inserted into an engaging groove 50 of the inner sleeve 20, and restricts rotation of the shaft 16 in a second angle range. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
