PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work method for reducing an impulsive sound. SOLUTION: This work method includes Steps S10, S12, S14 and S16. In the Step S10, a frame of a carpet laying area is made on a floor surface. In the Step S12, a plurality of plate-like foaming styrene are laid on an area made in the Step S10. In the Step S14, a plurality of plywood are laid on a plurality of foaming styrene, so that a boundary position between the mutual foaming styrene becomes different from a boundary position between a plurality of mutual plywood.
