PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a storage case such as a freezer compartment case and a vegetable compartment case with inexpensive partition members without making it difficult to take out foods in a refrigerator case or to clean the case; and to provide a storage case with a partition wall serving also as a food storing container that matches to a dietary habit of a user for facilitating orderly arrangement of foods and improving food storing capacity, and to provide a storage case with a partition wall serving also as a food storing container that matches to a dietary habit of a user for facilitating orderly arrangement of foods and improving food storing capacity. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with a storage compartment case installed on an openable/closable door and having an opening at the upper side, and a small object storing case detachably installed in the storage compartment case, slidable in the storage compartment case in a width direction or a depth direction, and having an opening at the upper side. The small object storing case has two opposing lateral wall faces in a sliding direction, and the height of one lateral wall face is lower than the height of the other lateral wall face. Also, the entire length of the lateral wall in the sliding direction is approximately equal to the size of the storage compartment case in the depth direction or the width direction.
