PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive article providing high cutting speed and giving fine surface finish on a workpiece surface. SOLUTION: An abrasive article (10) includes a sheet-like structure (19) having a major surface (13) and having deployed in a fixed position thereon a plurality of abutting abrasive composites (11, 12) in an area spacing of at least 1,200 pieces/cm2.
