PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a characteristic of far infrared ray-radiating granular material to the maximum, and to provide a more suitable application of the far infrared ray-radiating granular material. SOLUTION: Either or both of the far infrared ray-radiating fine powder which is made by adjusting the powder of far infrared ray-radiating material containing powder of animal or plant plankton fossils to particle sizes of 5-50 nm and the far infrared ray-radiating powder which is made by covering the surface of power adjusted to particle sizes of 0.2-0.5μm with resin containing the far-infrared ray radiating fine powder are dissolved into water and, thereby, an aqueous solution is obtained. By applying or spraying the aqueous solution onto the surface of a member constituting an automobile, the occurrence of harmful electro-magnetic wave, static electricity and volatile chemical substance in the automobile is suppressed, at the same time, the minus ion-dominant ion balance is created and the minus ion effect beneficial to human bodies is generated. In addition, combustion efficiency of the fuel is improved by the operation of far infrared ray to fuel and carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas is reduced by the operation of far infrared ray to the exhaust gas.
