PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for forming an active energy ray-curable multi-layer coating film having excellent coating film characteristics such as water resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance and a broken piece-shatterproof property; the active energy ray-curable multi-layer coating film formed by this method; and glassware having the active energy ray-curable multi-layer coating film. SOLUTION: This method for forming the active energy ray-curable multi-layer coating film comprises a step (I) to form a primer layer consisting of resin particles and a coating film forming resin by coating, and a step (II) to apply active energy ray-curable paint onto the primer layer formed in the step (I).
