The invention relates to a method whereby a plastic melt (6) is introduced into a die cavity (2) formed by a tool (3), between a first upper side (4) of the decorative material (1) and a first mould half (5). The other second upper side (7) of the decorative material (1) is pressed onto a second mould half (8). A film (9) is arranged between the first upper side (4) of the decorative material (1) and the first mould half (5), said film stabilising the decorative material (1) against deformation during the introduction of the plastic melt (6). During the introduction of the plastic melt (6), the preferably transparent film (9) is pressed onto the decorative material (1), connecting to the same. A protective layer (11) is transparent or partially transparent and enables the pattern (M) of the decorative material (1) to be recognised. |
