PURPOSE: Provided is a chair in which when a user is seated on the chair, with his or her back being not contacted with a backrest, the backrest can move towards the back of the user. CONSTITUTION: The chair includes a protective case installed between a seat(11) and a support leg(12) and resiliently moved up and down, a hydraulic pressure generating member for adjusting a hydraulic pressure when the seat is moved, a power generating member for operating a piston rod forward and rearward when a user sits on the seat, and a backrest moving member installed at an upper portion of the case for moving a backrest(13) front and back by the power generated from the power generating member. The backrest moving member moves the backrest forward and rearward according to forward/rearward operation of the piston rod.
