<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory composition whose rheological property is improved, to which a large amount of water can be added and whose kneaded material can be preserved for a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The monolithic refractory composition is comprised of a powdery composition consisting of a refractory raw material prepared with a course grain and an ultrafine powder and consisting of a binder and water or another kneaded liquid. As the rheology modifier, a rheology modifier A having a pH value of 8-10 and whose main component is an anionic aromatic compound and a rheology modifier B having a pH value of 4-8 and whose main component is a surfactant are combinedly used with the monolithic refractory composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
