<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect emission components mixed in T data for absorption correction with the T data, in scanning for obtaining the T data. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission radiation source 31 is rotated with a collimator 32 and information about its position is provided to an address convertor 13 by a rotation reading device 33 so that data by gamma ray entered into the detector 11 in an area U where the gamma ray from the radiation source 31 is not shielded by the collimator 32 are collected by a T data collection memory 15 and data by the gamma ray entered into the detector 11 in an area V where the gamma ray is shielded by the collimator 32 are collected by a T'e data collection memory 16. T data without any emission component mixed in are obtained by subtracting the latter data from the former data in a T data correction device 17 and the T data is used for accurately perform the absorption correction of the emission data by an absorption correction device 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
