SOLUTION: In a circulation path formed in both ends of a stir chamber and supply chamber, a second partition plate 73 is formed from a lid body 72 toward a housing 71. Additionally, between the partition plate 73 and the housing 71, an empty space is provided for allowing the developer 44 to reciprocate between both the chambers without being intercepted during the operation of the developing device, and for preventing the developer 44 in the stir chamber from rushing into the supply chamber when the developing device is tilted so that the supply chamber is situated lower than the other chamber. |
