<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device and a display device using the same which uniformalize and improve brightness, correct changes in emission intensity with a temperature change and a time, and maintain constant brightness and constant chromaticity. <P>SOLUTION: A first light detecting means 104 to detect the emission intensity of a light source 102 is disposed on the side of one light guide plate 100 disposed on the emission side out of light guide plates 100, 101 that opposes to the emission side in a region A having a reflection dot pattern of the light guide plate 100, and on the side of the other light guide plate 101 disposed in the opposite side that opposes to the emission side in a region B not having a reflection dot pattern of the light guide plate 101. A second light detecting means 105 for detecting the emission intensity of a light source 103 is disposed on the side of the one light guide plate 100 that opposes to the emission side in a region B not having a reflection dot pattern of the light guide plate 100, and on the side of the other light guide plate 101 that opposes to the emission side in a region A having a reflection dot pattern of the light guide plate 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
