<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire in which a core wire is made of a superelastic alloy, embossing of a distal end is facilitated, the distal end is restorably deformed by easily following into a blood vessel having a strong bent part and forcing characteristics into the blood vessel are raised. <P>SOLUTION: In a medical guide wire in which the core wire is made of the superelastic alloy and the outer diameter of the distal end of the core wire is smaller than the outer diameter of a near end, the distal end of the core wire is coated with a plastic metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
