PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device 11 which can be constructed without removing a lamp from a device body 24, with improved adhesion between an ornamental frame 33 of an outer peripheral part of the device body 24 and a ceiling material 13. SOLUTION: The frame-shaped lamp 18 is arranged at a peripheral area of the device body 24, and a hanging bolt mounting part 29 is arranged at a central area of the device body 24. The lighting device can be mounted on the ceiling without removing the lamp 18 from the device body 24 by securing a sufficient working space for mounting the hanging bolt mounting part 29 on a hanging bolt 15. The adhesion between the outer peripheral part of the ornamental frame 33 of the device body 24 and the ceiling plate 13 is improved by holding the device body 24 against the ceiling plate 13 by a ceiling mounting means 35 arranged at the peripheral part of the device body 24.
