PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method, in which a wire wound around each pole of a multielectrode armature having a commutator is wound without a clearance, and a bulge of a coil end portion is reduced. SOLUTION: A lap winding wound around a plurality of poles over between poles is not adopted to wind to the poles of the multielectrode armature, and a concentrated winding wound around each pole in each winding is adopted. Therefore, a pair of center formers, capable of moving in the radial direction of the pole are provided in both end parts in the radial direction of the pole, and a flyer for repeatedly rotating the center former and the wires is moved between the base end and the tip of the pole and which is wound to the pole in a trapezoidal shape so as not to go over the center of the slot between the poles.
