PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wafer type orifice trap capable of sealing the area between a pair of flanges of pipes using a single gasket. SOLUTION: The wafer type orifice trap is equipped with a gasket body 10 fixed upon being pinched by a pair of flanges 6 and 7 of pipes 4 and 5 using a bolt 8 and a nut 9 as an external coupling member, a partitioning member 13 having communication holes 15 and arranged on the inside surface of the gasket body 10 airtightly, and an orifice plate 2 having a plurality of orifices 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, 12e and installed on the partitioning member 13 in such a way that the desired number of orifices are confronting the communication holes 15 in the partitioning member 13.
