PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanking auxiliary member allowing an auxiliary piece with cushioning property disposed around a cutting edge of a blanked oblong hole, to be rationally arranged in required dimensional shape, making effective use of a base material. SOLUTION: The auxiliary piece formed of a rectangular member of required outline dimensions with cushioning property is formed with a circular blanked hole part 5 at the center part, a base part surrounding the hole part 5, and a large number of radially tapered deformable leg pieces 12 provided in line with the base part 11 by depth of cuts provided at suitable pitches on the outside. The auxiliary piece 10 is separably formed by a cut line 3 and at least bisected by a dividing cut line 3' passing the center of the circular blanked hole part 5 to form auxiliary pieces 10 of circular arc shape which are provided with straight part auxiliary pieces 15, 16 at the respective surrounding sides. The auxiliary pieces of circular arc shape are separated and arranged along the outside of the circular arc part of an oblong hole cutting edge, and the straight part auxiliary pieces 15 or 16 cut out from the base material can be arranged outside the straight parts of the cutting edge.
