PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NT shutter component for optical connector having excellent attachment operability to an adaptor. SOLUTION: The NT shutter component comprises an NT shutter 2 made of super-elastic NiTi alloy foil after flat plate memory heat treatment and an attachment member 3 for attaching the NT shutter 2 to the adaptor 4 mechanically, for instance, by using a latch system. Accordingly, the attachment can be performed smoothly and quickly as compared to the conventional bonding method. The base part 2a of the NT shutter 2 is located on a groove part disposed on the attachment member 3, both contact surfaces of the NT shutter base part 2a and the attachment member 3 groove part are formed ruggedly and the stripping of the NT shutter 2 is prevented. As the attachment member 3 is composed of integrated type or split type molding according to a resin mold method, the manufacture is facilitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
