摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely calculate respective strength of four legs of a square steel tower having four legs with respective uneven length. SOLUTION: In a designing method of the legs of the square steel tower having four legs 11-14 having uneven length. Respective load burden ratio of four legs 11-14 at the time when an arbitrary directional load act on the square steel tower 10 is obtained from balance of the two-dimensional force. Next, respective load burden ratio of the four legs 11-14 is used, by actuating respective directional load to the square steel tower 10, each stress generated in the four legs 11-14 is obtained at every load direction separately, the maximum value of the stresses of the four legs 11-14 is regarged as respective necessary strength of the four legs 11-14.
