PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a long spiral wire rod to be successively guided and cut in a device for guiding/cutting a spiral wire rod, and to provide a method therefor. SOLUTION: The device is composed as follows. At least a first guide part 21, whose diameter is reduced on the side of manufacturing counter-spiral, is supported freely rotatably so that the spiral wire rod coming out from a spiral wire rod manufacturing part A is revolved in a state of the jumping rope. The first guide part 21 is rotated at a speed equal to or almost equal to the rotational speed at the spiral wire rod manufacturing part. The spiral wire rod, which comes out from the spiral wire rod manufacturing part A and to which centrifugal force generated by the revolving is imparted, is introduced to the first guide part 21. The spiral wire rod coming out from the first guide part 21 is cut with a cutting part 30. A second guide part 22 composed of a cylindrical body may be fixed to the tip of the first guide part.
