DEVICE AND METHOD FOR VIRTUAL IMAGE DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for virtual image display which can quickly and accurately supply information on specimens in the abdomen area to operators as required during the surgical operations with a simple structure and a less cost. SOLUTION: In the virtual image display device 1, a program based on the virtual image display method housed in a CPU 25 is started by the operator to display a virtual image display screen 17A on a monitor 17 and the information on a position into which an endoscope 2 is to be inserted in the abdomen area of a patient (insertion point) and numerals in the axial direction (notice point) of the endoscope 2 are inputted using a mouse 15 or a keyboard 16 watching the screen.
