PURPOSE: A telephone encryption apparatus for the prevention of wiretapping is provided to enable a user to safely use his telephone by converting an analog voice signal into a digital signal and transmitting an analog voice after modulating and demodulating the converted signal. CONSTITUTION: In processing a voice signal to be transmitted, an analog-digital converter(1) converts the voice signal into a digital signal. A voice modulator(3) modulates the digital signal. A digital-analog converter(2) converts and transmits the modulated signal into a voice signal. For a received voice signal, the analog-digital converter(1) converts it into a digital signal. A voice demodulator(4) demodulates the digital signal. The digital-analog converter(2) converts the demodulated signal into voice signal.
