PURPOSE: A method for setting a document format environment of a drawing on a drawing making program is provided to change the document format environment within a limit range by checking that a selected input value is within the limit range. CONSTITUTION: After executing the drawing making program, a document format environment setting command is inputted(S11). If the document format environment is selected/inputted, it is checked that the selected input value is within the limit range(S13). In case that the selected input value is over the limit range, an error message is output(S14). If the selected input value is within the limit range, the document format environment is changed(S15).
