DEVICE FOR MEASURING TORQUE OF ENGINE IN VEHICLE ACCORDING TO ELASTIC DEFORMATION OF TORSION SPRING OF CLUTCH DISK

PURPOSE: A torque measuring device of an engine for a vehicle is provided to improve the reliability by measuring the torque of the engine accurately according to elastic deformation of the torsion spring of the clutch disk with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A torque measuring device of an engine is composed of a clutch hub(4) integrally rotated and spline-combined with a transmission input shaft(2); a clutch disk plate(6) turned and spline-combined with the outer periphery of the clutch hub and selectively rubbed with the flywheel according to transmission of power from the engine; a torsion spring(8) installed in the spline-combination portion between the clutch disk plate and the clutch hub and elastically deformed according to torque of the engine in transmitting power of the engine; a torque measuring unit detecting the torque of the engine by measuring elastic deformation of the torsion spring; and a torque meter displaying the torque of the engine from the torque measuring unit.
