<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metal hydrogencarbonate such as sodium hydrogencarbonate with a high purity by increasing a yield of carbon dioxide or the like whose content ratio of a stable isotope<SP>13</SP>C is controlled to be different from the natural isotope content ratio and as much as possible avoiding mixing of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. <P>SOLUTION: The metal hydrogencarbonate is manufactured by introducing carbon dioxide into an aqueous solution of a metal hydroxide and reacting them, where a hydrophilic organic solvent is added into the aqueous solution during the time after the reaction starts, where the aqueous solution becomes turbid, and before the reaction ends. By using carbon dioxide whose content ratio of a stable isotope<SP>13</SP>C is controlled to be different from the natural isotope content ratio, a metal hydrogencarbonate whose content ratio of a stable isotope<SP>13</SP>C is controlled to be different from a natural isotope content ratio is efficiently manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
