<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce peak power at each transmission antenna without deteriorating the error-ratio characteristics of a communication partner, in communication using two or more carriers, to which transmission diversity is applied, simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving level measuring unit 201 and a receiving level measuring unit 202 measure a receiving level of each carrier received by a transceiver antenna 101 and a transceiver antenna 102. A receiving level magnitude comparing unit 203 selects an antenna with maximum receiving level for each carrier.A counter 204 calculates the total number of selected carriers for each antenna based on the selected result.
