<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller uniform in electrification and transfer by obtaining improved adhesion properties between a conductive elastic layer containing polar rubber and a conductive shaft body, and uniform electrical characteristics; and to provide a method for manufacturing the conductive roller. <P>SOLUTION: In the conductive roller where the conductive elastic body layer is provided at the outer periphery of the conductive shaft body and the method for manufacturing the conductive roller, the conductive elastic body layer contains the polar rubber, and an adhesive for bonding the shaft body and the conductive elastic body contains moisture-curable urethane prepolymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
