<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording device for recording data without being restricted by the number of recording times of data to an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk recording device 1 verifies whether the data of optimum power are recorded at a specific region of the optical disk 10 when recording data to the optical disk 10 set to a body, executes OPC when no data are recorded, and acquires optimum recording power to the optical disk 10. In this case, the acquired optimum recording power is recorded at the specific region of the optical disk 10.
