<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preventthe accumulation of toner on an NC roller in an image forming apparatus of an NCCS cleaner-less system. <P>SOLUTION: The toner incapable of being recovered in a developing machine by using a coating transfer roller and carrying out an NC roller accumulated toner discharging sequence between sheets of paper is transited to the transfer roll and retained. The unrecovered toner is prevented from returning again to the NC roller and electrifying failure and image failure are prevented.
