<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device constituted so that toner just replenished into a developer container and the mixed components of existing toner and carrier can be effectively mixed, as for the developing device provided with a 1st stirring member for stirring while feeding from one side to the other side in the axial direction, a 2nd stirring member arranged parallel to the 1st stirring member, for stirring while feeding from the other side to one side in the axial direction, the developer container where the 1st stirring member and the 2nd stirring member are housed, a partitioning member arranged between the 1st stirring member and the 2nd stirring member from one side part to the other side part in the axial direction of the stirring members in the developer container, and a communication port formed at each longitudinal end of the partitioning member in the developer container. <P>SOLUTION: In the developer container 20, a control member 20c for controlling two-component developer to pass through the lower part of the communication port is arranged on the communication port positioned on the downstream side in the feeding direction of the 1st stirring member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
