<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack with which the ratio of unit cell pressure loss to manifold pressure loss is secured at a certain level or more regardless of highs and lows of reaction gas flow amount, and with which the optimum gas distribution characteristic can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: At the discharge manifold 5 of the fuel cell stack 1 constituted by laminating a plurality of unit cells 2, a movable member 7 is installed. At the movable member 7, a penetration hole 9 corresponding to the exhaust port 6 is installed. By moving the movable member 7 corresponding to the reaction gas flow amount, when the reaction gas flow amount is large, the exhaust port 6 is coincided with the penetration hole 9, and when the reaction gas flow amount is small, the exhaust port 6 and the penetration hole 9 are shifted one another, thus by increasing unit cell pressure loss/manifold pressure loss, the gas distribution performance is made improved irrespective of the reaction gas flow amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
