<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator of which, reduction of pressure loss, a gas diffusion property, gas supplying property, and draining property are improved by reducing the size of protrusions, capable of restraining an increase of contact resistance and lowering of power generation capacity. <P>SOLUTION: On the fuel cell separator, (1) a width of an anode side gas flow path is broader than a width of a cathode side gas flow path, and (2) the size of a protrusion 32 for the anode side gas flow path is smaller than the size of a protrusion 33 for the cathode side gas flow path, and (3) pressure loss at the gas flow path between manifolds is made small. (4) The fuel cell is a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell, and (5) the protrusion 32 for the anode side gas flow path and the protrusion 33 for the cathode side gas flow path are located so as to face each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
