PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously install a plurality of relevant nonfree programs to release a nonfree lock and to simultaneously uninstall a plurality of relevant nonfree programs to set a nonfree lock. SOLUTION: This nonfree program management system comprises a nonfree lock information table storing a purchase flag showing the purchase or non-purchase of every nonfree program, and a relevant nonfree program information table storing information for a nonfree program relevant to each nonfree program. When installing a nonfree program, a nonfree program relevant thereto is acquired and installed with the nonfree program concerned, and the purchase flags of the installed nonfree programs in the nonfree lock information table are updated from OFF to ON. At the time of uninstalling the nonfree program, the nonfree program relevant thereto is retrieved and uninstalled with the nonfree program concerned, and the purchase flags of the uninstalled nonfree programs in the nonfree lock information table are updated from ON to OFF.
