<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portal server system and its method. <P>SOLUTION: This server system can include a portal coupled to one or more portlets, and each portlet has relating portlet rendering logic. The system also can include a portlet aggregator linked to the portlet rendering logic so as to communicate with it. Finally the system can be provided with a visual service extension for the portlet aggregator. The visual service extension can be programmed to process the portlet rendering logic to convert a visual style attribute in the portlet rendering logic to markup language tags, and the markup language tags can be rendered so as to be display in a specified type of a pervasive agent.
