ROUTING METHOD AND ROUTING SERVER IN NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an in-network routing method which can effectively save a network band and prevents database retrieval from being complicated.

SOLUTION: A routing server (103) that controls in-network routing has routing databases (203 and 303) for regulating the relation between the identification number of a calling side terminal and a gateway device located the closest to the calling side terminal in distance and determines a gateway device (101a to 101n) to transfer a call connection request on the basis of a caller number when the call connection request is received. By managing the routing databases on the basis of a caller number in this way, the routing databases can be uniformly set and the futility of resources is avoidable even though a number system of the other network side is wide-ranging.
