摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for submerged-arc-welding steel for a crude oil tank, which imparts almost equally excellent corrosion resistance to the entire crude oil tank including weld joints, in an oil corrosion environment in crude oil tanks for transporting or storing crude oil, such as oil tanks of an oil tanker constructed by welding, and oil tanks on or under the ground. SOLUTION: In the method for submerged-arc-welding steel for a crude oil tank, a steel to be welded includes, in mass%, 0.01-1.5% Cu and 0.01-0.5% Mo. A welding wire to be used is plated with 0.3-30μm thick Cu and includes, in mass% based on the total mass, 0.001-0.2% C, 0.01-1.0% Si, 0.1-2.5% Mn and 0.01-1.0% Cu including Cu on the plated surface. Welding is performed within the range of a heat input of≥3kJ/mm and≤30kJ/mm by using at least either one of the wire or a bonded flux including 0.01-1.0% Mo in mass%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
