PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect an amount of a cooking object, to cook the cooking object during a proper cooking time in response to the amount to provide the optimum cooking result, and to omit a zero point adjustment for a sensor. SOLUTION: This cooker includes a cooking chamber for storing and cooking the cooking object and a rotary unit rotated while supporting the cooking object. The rotary unit is provided in the cooking chamber to be rotated by at least one roller rolling-contacting with a bottom face of the cooking chamber. The weight sensor is provided in one portion of a roller moving route to be pressurized temporarily by the roller when the rotary unit is rotated, generates a load output signal by a level of the pressurization when pressurized by the roller, and generates a non-load output signal when not pressurized by the roller. A control unit calculates a difference between the load output signal and the non-load output signal to convert into a weight of the cooking object, a cooking condition corresponding to the weight of the cooking object is determined thereby, and cooking is carried out based on the determined cooking condition.
